There are two folders that seem to have identical files in them, called "ULUS10432SYSI" and "USUL104320000", both of which have files called "Param.SFO" and "Persona.SAV". I assume you need at least one version of the Persona.SAV file but do you also need the PARAM.SFO file and/or both versions of one or each?

I'm looking at two mostly identical folders both starting in "ULUS10432" whereas one ends in "SYSI" and the other just ends in "0000". The contents of both of those folders are visibly similar as well, with two files, one being "Param.SFO" and the other being "Persona.SAV". You cannot use any Citra other than Bleeding Edge if you want to make working pointers.

@@iVitrol Yes. However, do note that BE is like 8 or so years old so some games will not run at full speed on it, or at all.

A quick Google search could have told you this. Max all SLs in one playthrough, go to the velvet room, get the key item from Igor, go to the hexagon fusion and fuse him.

A clear save means that the game has been beaten. You will most likely start a NewGame+ run when you load it. As for the reason why it didn't work, that would be due to a mismatch between the versions of the save and your game.

@@zkdhaby2461 In that case, write down the exact steps you took (starting from downloading the archive) once you wake up. Be detailed. Edit: Make sure to check the encoding on the file. It has to be either UTF-8 or UTF-8 (with BOM). Also check which region of the game you have (e.g. ULUS10432).

Cheats make games even more fun. :) Although, I suppose that depends on the individual.

You wish to have a go at it? As I wrote a while ago, the DBF cheat table is like 90% finished. The only thing left to make are a few additional codes for certain things but due to severe depression caused by real life BS I put it on an indefinite hiatus. You need to find at what address Medicine is and then replace it with the item you want. Or, you can just place your new item at any blank spot in the address pool, as I explained in detail to yllifazlija1811 in another comment which you should definitely read if you're interested.

@@MegaChaos91 Yeah sorry I saw the comment with your explanation after asking, my bad! I tried messing in Cheat Engine but for some reason it's not working for me and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong :/ I selected the emulator with Persona running and attached it to the CE process select. Then tried searching for the address of medicine by scanning for the amount I have in my inventory, I've used all possible value types during scanning but there is never a final address returned when I change the value in-game and type that new value into CE and hit next scan, it always returns nothing instead. Since that didn't work out I tried to manually add the 2 addresses you mentioned in the other post and hit memory view but everything is displayed as "??" so yeah, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong and any help would be appreciated! Again sorry if I'm asking stupid or obvious questions

@@virgozodiac7306 You have to do a 2-byte search for the value+item mod in HEX for this game (C001 in the video. C0 = 96, 01 = Medicine). If you have any other quantity of the item then you need to change C0 to match the quantity. Do note that quantifiers work differently in this game as they are DOUBLED. Example: Normally, "96" is 60 in HEX, but in this game it is "C0", as it is doubled (96+96=192, 60+60=C0, 192=C0). There are three reasons why those addresses showed up as ??. 1) It's because you did not enable "MEM_MAPPED" in CE's settings. 2) You do not have the correct value type(s) enabled in CE (e.g. Big Endian). 3) Those are real PSP addresses and CE does not work properly with a version of PPSSPP that is higher than v1.0.1 r757, which came out in 2015 and is quite old/obsolete now. I still use the old version for making cheat codes as CE displays the actual PSP addresses. If you use CE with any other version of PPSSPP you will get addresses with 11 digits instead of 8. These addresses will continue to work until you either change areas in the game or close the emulator (game-specific). This is exactly why it is impossible to make a "static" cheat table for PPSSPP on the newer versions. (The same can be said about Citra.)

The problem with item modding in this game is that the items do not have their own individual addresses. This means that items can easily get overwritten by others if you make a mistake. You have to find an empty "byte" in the address "pool" and place your item there. I can make the cheat code easily, but I need to know on what address and byte your last item is and then place the new item on the next free byte. Or, you can overwrite a consumable item (e.g. Medicine - digit 0001) with the item you want as it should be among the first items in the list. You can do this quite easily through Cheat Engine's Memory Viewer if you're playing on the emulator. You can use HxD to modify your save file on PC or use TempAR to modify the addresses while the game is running, on a real psp.

@@yllifazlija1811 The very first address for item mods is 88CB6208. The last populated address being 88CB650A. There are a total of 386 items in the game. A byte address (0x0) can hold either just the quantifier or the actual item but not both. One 2-byte address (0x1) can hold 1 item with a quantifier. A 4-byte (0x2) can hold two items and two quantifiers, whereas an 8-byte address can hold four items and quantifiers (Cheat Engine only). I do not know which one is the actual last address for item mods as I did not check and only created a code which populates every 2-byte address with a value and increments it by 1 each iteration.

Haha, in that case, I would recommend getting either a Premium link generator or buying a Premium account. Just keep in mind that there are many fake generators out there that are basically malware.
